外壁通体绘丙吉问牛图。红日初升，松树下，岩石旁，溪水边，有一水牛，众人围绕这只牛发生的故事，人物形神兼备。衣服上的梅花斑点和席织草纹为明末清初的典型特征。石者，天地之骨也，此器的山石采用斧劈皴画法，简明概括，痛快淋漓。全器绘画技法纯熟流畅，青花发色艳丽，分水鲜明，富于层次感，胎釉结合紧密，釉面光滑如镜，色泽莹润，为明末青花瓷器之精品。曾德国纳高拍卖。 来源：欧洲拍卖
