The field with overall design of large polychrome hooked and floral panels together with various floral motifs. In palmette and angular vine border between arrowhead, floral and barber-pole stripes. This carpet has good pile, soft wool quality. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages original. There is a very small area of discolouration at one end otherwise this carpet is in very good condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
