by George Unite, Birmimgham 1877 Pear-shaped, engraved with scrolling foliage, ivory insulators, a twin-handled trophy cup, by Martin Hall & Co, Ltd, Sheffield 1911 both with presentation inscriptions, and a pierced sweetmeat dish, weight 48.8oz. (3)
|The presentation inscription to the water pot reads 'Presented by Miss.C.Whyte, Stonehaven, To her guardian James Scott Esquire, Banker, Stonehaven 1878.'The cup reads 'Dumfries Agricultural Society Champion Challenge Cup for Best Border Leicester Presented by J.Bruce Duncan Esquire of Newlands 1913.'
