Group of Iroqouis beadwork. Four bags, beaded on fabric with floral and foliate designs, circa late 19th to early 20th century. Three are velvet flap bags, and one is a pouch with a large red silk border. One beaded glengarry cap from the Six Nations Reserve in Canada, circa 1880. Provenance: one flap bag and the cap are former Mark Francis Collection.Literature: The Mark Francis Collection of American Indian Art: A Photo Journal, #1, #2. Condition Good condition; some fraying to fabric but extremely minimal bead loss.
