Rare 18th Chinese Qing Dynasty nephrite celadon jade censer, in bowl formation celadon jade, smooth carved in form of round vessel, domed lid hand carved from hardwood in lotus pattern scrolled toward the circumference supporting the Buddha hand Citroen finial. Dragon head creates shoulder pieces with U-shaped curls extending from the chin outward eventually connecting further down the vessel to complete the handle grips, each holding free ring. The exterior Decorated with archaistic Tao pattern interspersed with beautiful chisel work Elegantly presented upon a carved hardwood stand.
