Provenance: the Roy Hogarth Collection. The Stephen Hanscombe Collection.Exhibited: Stockspring Antiques, June 2008, Early James Giles, No. 80. The steatic soft-paste porcelain of this model has been previously attributed to Vauxhall and may possibly be linked to a short-lived concern at Kentish Town under the direction of John Bolton.
