A portrait miniature of a gentleman wearing coat, waistcoat, frilled chemise and tied stock. Pencil and watercolour on card, signed on the obverse and dated, Bonvoisin 1823, gilt-mounted on a rectangular ebonised and turned wood frame, accompanied by eighteen miniatures painted on ivory, (mostly French School, early 19th century), some signed and dated to the obverse, a plaster cast of a Louis XVIII coin (After Auguste-François Michaut, French, 1786–1879) and three port scenes, including two painted on papier-mâché, one smaller portrait miniature on ivory cracked.
