The figures of Mercury after Giambologna (Italian, 1529-1608), holding aloft three scrolled branches and standing upon a domed base decorated with stars and cornucopia, with a milled and flowerhead decorated column on a stepped plinth, 53cm high (2)
|Giambologna executed the original version of this Mercury in 1580, although records indicate that earlier versions were created some years before.
