A Louis XV gold-mounted tortoiseshell box


possibly by Pierre-Aymé Joubert, Paris marks for 1744 - 1750, and later restricted warranty marks Rectangular, the cagework frame with Rococo scrolls, set with panels of tortoiseshell, the lid later set with an earlier oil miniature with gold border, length 7.2cm.
