Two Chinese famille rose-decorated porcelain snuff bottles The first of flattened spade form with rounded shoulders, possibly depicting Li Tieguai on a dragon against a wave-textured white enamel ground; the second depicting eighteen Lohan, underside with four-character Daoguang mark, and possibly of the period. Approx. H of taller: 3 1/8 in., 7.8cm PROVENANCE: The first purchased from Fu-Ming-Fair Gallery, Mainland, Pennsylvania, February 5, 1978 by the parents of the present owner. Thence by descent.
