A pair of Chinese landscape prints by Tao Lengyue. Each is signed by the artist and framed. One print depicts a moonlit river by night, the other depicts a waterfall in the mountains. Dimensions are: 7 inches tall X 10 1/2 inches wide, while the frame measures 12 3/4 inches tall X 16 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both are in good condition. Provenance: From the estate of Dr. Max Gentry, a medical doctor and missionary sent to Chongqing, China in 1925. He was there until 1938. Dr. Gentry, along with Dr. James McCartney, established the first western hospital in Chongqing: Kuan Ren Hospital.
