A Chinese album of landscape paintings in watercolor and ink on silk and paper by Zhang Qia. Dimensions are: the full page paintings measure 7 3/4 inches tall X 9 3/4 inches wide, the half page paintings measure 7 1/2 inches tall X 4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The paper pages have disconnected, some paintings show worm damage and foxing. Provenance: From the estate of General Li Pingxian (1890-1987). During the Northern Expedition, he served as the commander of the Eighth Army of the National Revolutionary Army, the Chief of Staff of the Fourth Group Army, and concurrently the Commander-in-Chief of the Three Towns of Wuhan. In his military career, he fought in major battles including the Battle of Shanghai, the Battle of Xuzhou, the Battle of Taierzhuang and the Battle of Wuhan. After the outbreak of the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, he served as deputy director of the Xuzhou Jingjing Office, deputy chief of the Huazhong Military and Administrative Office, and chairman of the Guangxi Provincial Government.來自原國民黨上將李品仙將軍藏品。李品仙（1890－1987年），廣西省梧州府蒼梧縣人，字鶴齡。桂系名將，中華民國陸軍二級上將。早年參加辛亥武昌起義和北伐戰爭。北伐期間任國民革命軍第八軍軍長，第四集團軍參謀長，兼任武漢三鎮衛戌總司令。1937年，中國抗日戰爭爆發，李品仙任第五戰區副司令長官（司令長官李宗仁）兼第十一集團軍總司令。率部參加淞滬會戰、徐州會戰、台兒莊戰役 和武漢會戰等重大戰役，立下赫赫戰功。後任任命為安徽省政府主席，第十戰區司令長官等要職。第二次國共內戰爆發後，先後任徐州綏靖公署副主任，華中軍政長官公署副長官（長官白崇禧），廣西省政府主席等職。1949年去台灣，任總統府戰略顧問委員會顧問。1953年退職。 High resolution images can be found at: https://file.ac/tM5OSkj6ya8/
