A Chinese calligraphy in ink on paper by Wu Jinheng with a dedication to Pu Sheng. The calligraphy has 2 seals, and it is mounted on a silk backing with silk dowels on gold and silver flecked paper. Dimensions are: 50 inches tall X 13 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The calligraphy has severe creasing and the backing is torn. Provenance: From the estate of Yang Pusheng (1879-1949). Yang Pusheng was the founder and principal of the Huzhou Luhu School, as well as the founder of the Central Committee of Tongmenghui, a leader of Guangfu Shanghai, an outstanding political activist in the Xinhai period, and a revolutionary patriot.
