Above all, the srivatsa presented by the goddess on the palm of her hand suggests that this is Lakshmi. This portent of good fortune is also located on the chest of the high deity Vishnu, her husband. Lakshmi is a goddess of beauty and of happy welfare, one of whose names is also Sri or Sri-Lakshmi. This tall bronze statue, composed of six parts, shows her standing in tribangha on a well-crafted lotus base. Her floor-length dress is richly decorated and decorative chains run over her bare chest.
