Description

朱梅邨，名兆昌，自署獨眼半聾居士，號花野漁父。江蘇吳縣人。初從師樊少雲，13歲起隨舅父吳湖帆習畫。就坊於蘇州第二中學時因中耳炎改入私塾，從王康吉攻讀古文6年。19歲即賣畫為生。曾與葉恭綽、吳湖帆、張大千、馮超然等一起組織正社畫會。擅長中國畫、年畫。梅邨深柳讀書堂。故鄉花野圩，耕餘草堂門外，一片湖光山色。勝有西湖空澹清曠之趣。而今世亂難歸，對之擲筆茫然。甲申，朱梅邨。
