胡適，原名嗣穈，學名洪騂，字希疆，後改名胡適，字適之，筆名天風、藏暉等。安徽績溪人。現代著名學者、詩人、歷史家、文學家、哲學家。因提倡文學革命而成為新文化運動的領袖之一。1938年任國民政府駐美國大使。1946年任北京大學校長。1958年任台灣“中央研究院院長”。宇萍先生：十九日的信收到了，謝謝……。胡適。十八年三月七日。
