说明 有清一代文房用品的制作达到了登峰造极之境地。本品即为其中佳例，通体作旋纹为地，盖顶浮雕二甲传胪，雕工精细，惟妙惟肖。螃蟹的堆砌细致写实，富有生气，充满文人意趣。拍品小巧玲珑，古趣盎然，置于案头，为文人墨客之挚爱。螃蟹有甲壳，芦苇谐音“胪”，故两只螃蟹加上芦苇，有“二甲传胪”之寓意。《明史·选举志》记：“会试第一位会元，二甲第一为传胪”。二甲传胪亦即是祝愿对方在科举考试内金榜题名，螃蟹与芦苇遂成为中国艺术中受人喜爱的吉祥纹饰。
