|Provenance:According to the current owner, acquired from Hai Ou Gallery, Singapore, in the early 1990s李可染 三牛圖 設色紙本 鏡框 一九八七年作款識:三牛圖。牛也,力大無窮,俯首孺子而不逞強,終生勞瘁,事農而安。不居功,純良溫馴,時亦強犟,穩步向前,足不踏空。皮毛骨肉無不有用,形容無華,氣宇軒宏。吾崇其性,學其品,愛其形。故屢屢寫之不倦。一九八七年歲次丁卯龝。可染畫於師牛堂。牛!春夏秋冬汗水流,泥濕透,田野綠油油。牛!朝出耕耘日落休,身何索?五穀給人留。牛!徹夜反芻為金秋,心何盼?萬頃報豐收。海岩詞十六字令。可染再題。鈐印:白髮學童、李、可染、師牛堂、老李、可染、廢畫三千、陳言務去來源:原藏家上世紀九十年代初購自新加坡海鷗畫廊註:海鷗畫廊一九七八年成立於獅城,由著名報人蔡建奕(b.1916)創辦,在新加坡極富盛名。早期以經營近現代名家書畫為主,蔡氏與李可染、啟功、劉海粟等皆有過從,並在上個世紀八十年代為多位中國畫家於新加坡舉辦個展。二〇〇三年,海鷗畫廊結束營業。
