A Charles I joined oak and fruitwood-veneered three tier buffet, circa 1640


Each tier having a single-piece top board, the upper tier with dentil-moulded underfrieze and a narrow drawer with three mitre-moulded veneer-centred tablets, flanked by pyramidal bosses, the middle-tier also with a drawer, slightly cushioned and with stained run-mouldings, on columnar-turned front supports and run-moulded back uprights, 121cm wide x 39cm deep x 103.5cm high, (47 1/2in wide x 15in deep x 40 1/2in high)
