The dish is finely decorated to the centre with a dragon chasing the flaming pearl amongst flower scrolls. The exterior decorated with two striding dragons chasing the flaming pearl. Yongzheng six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle and of the period (1723-1735) Catalogue notes: Compare a 'dragon' dish with a similar shade of cobalt blue and design in the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, accession no. 4338-D3.
