The dish is finely enamelled in gilt, iron-red and black enamel, the centre is finely enamelled with a scroll-form panel enclosing a mountain scene en grisaille surrounded by flower sprays, all encircled by a gilt spearhead border, the flattened rim is decorated with grapes, bamboo, lingzhi, and leaf sprays.
