One sceptre is carved as an open flower with elongated inward-curving petals and two crossed stamens, the stem is elegantly carved with a coiled decoration. The other sceptre is delicately carved in openwork as gnarled interlocking branches in the shape of a lingzhi fungus. The woods are of a rich brown tone. The longer: 36.5 cm. The other: 33.5 cm.
