The small bowl is delicately decorated with a gnarled branch in underglaze blue growing from the foot over the rim into the interior, bearing flowering magnolia blossoms executed in a glazed rice-grain pattern, with some further flowers in famille rose enamels. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark. Condition: There is a hairline to the rim (approx. 3.2 cm.) There is a bruise (approx. 1.5 cm.) and some small chips to the foot.
