The lot comprises: a blue and white 'lotus' dish, decorated to the centre with a roundel depicting a wavy pond surrounded by lotus leaves and flowers, the reverse is decorated with further lotus with an apocryphal Jiajing mark to the base; a blue and white ogee bowl decorated with two registers of figures farming and at leisure in a mountainous river landscape, the interior is decorated with a floral spray; and a large blue and white lobed bowl decorated with a central medallion containing houses beside a river and flowers to the lobed sides, with flowers scrolls to the exterior. Condition: The lotus dish: Two fine cracks to the rim, one partially infilled (the longer 4.3 cm. long). Light surface wear, particularly to the foot. 19.5 cm. diam The ogee bowl: Some restorations to the mouth rim with associated infill and overpainting. A chip to the interior of the foot (approx. 1 cm.). Surface wear. 15.5 cm. diam. The lobed bowl: There is a small chip and an associated hairline to the rim (approx. 3.5 cm.)
