The vase is decorated to the body with a dragon in underglaze blue coiling around the body chasing the flaming pearl, all amongst clouds above tumultuous waves. The exterior is covered in a mottled red glaze which pales by the foot. There is an incised apocryphal Yongzheng mark to the base. Condition: The neck has been broken into several pieces and restuck, with associated losses There are fine glaze crackles There are a few fine hairline cracks to the foot.
