Description
Translation provided by Youdao
An exceptionally rare Chinese porcelain deep bowl made to have two handles or ropes affixed. It is possible that this form was also intended to form a sort of brazier. Excellent underglaze blue decoration, rare for a time when control of these blues was still nascent. ###Provenance: Antique Chinese Ceramics Limited Partnership, Bangkok, Thailand, purchased 1996; Private collection, Minnesota Dimensions: Height: 6 1/2 in x diameter: 8 1/2 in.SKU: 00735
