A MEISSEN GILT-METAL MOUNTED PORCELAIN EWER AND COVER, circa 1745-50, of lobed baluster form, the ozier-moulded ground with two quatrelobe cartouches reserved with Holzschnittblumen, surrounded by further scattered sprigs and sprays of flowers, the scroll handle modelled with a female bust, the cover with a scroll finial heightened in gilding, 25cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue (minute nicks to top of finial)
