Each of the corners with incised silver mounts shaped as stylised petals, the lockplate formed as the Gandaberunda, with two handles to the sides, the interior with four small drawers, 9cm x 41cm x 27cm.
The Gandaberunda is a two-headed mythological bird and it was the symbol of the Wodeyar royal house of the Kingdom of Mysore.
