Tibet, 16th/17th century The Buddha modelled in vajraparyankasana with the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, wearing a diaphanous monk's robe draped over his left shoulders, falling into graceful pleats between the legs, raised on a double-lotus pedestal, sealed base. 14cm (5 1/2in) high.
