The tower is decorated to the body with a band of lion masks above densely scrolling lotus. The domed vessel opens to reveal a gilt Buddha with hands in prayer and seated in dhyanasana. The column is divided into thirteen registers of lotus scrolls supporting a parasol surmounted by a beribonned double gourd. The square stand is enamelled puce and decorated with further flower scrolls.
