Each side of the cover is decorated with vases bearing flowers and scattered precious objects all inlaid in hardstone, jade, mother of pearl, and bone, on a ochre-lacquer ground surrounded by a carved gilt wood keyfret band. The display cabinet is crafted with different levels and two sliding drawers, standing on a platform with an openwork frieze decorated in gilt resting on a four-footed stand decorated with a lappet band and archaistic scrolls.Please note: this lot contains hongmu and is therefore subject to the relevant trade restrictions in correspondence with CITES regulations.
