萧俊贤，先从南岳僧苍崖学画山水三年，后拜山阴沈翰为师十载。两江师范首设国画考科，萧俊贤成为该校执教国画课第一人，后又任国立北平艺专（今中央美院）教授，曾代理艺专校长，继而担任南京美专国画系主任，连居南北讲座，桃李盈门，陈师曾、吕风子、姜丹书、张善孖、施南池等著名画家均出其门下。当时声震京城的湖南画家主要有冯臼、萧俊贤、齐白石三人，时称“冯萧齐”。1920年被聘为中国画学研究会评议，跻身京华一流画家行列。晚年鬻画京沪。|
