释文：棱威重译震，盛事百年知。吴芝瑛。
钤印：吴芝瑛印、紫英 吴芝瑛（1868-1934），字紫英，号万柳夫人，安徽桐城人。名士廉泉妻，夫妻二人以侠义心肠名闻天下，时人列其义举：“倡国民捐，葬秋女侠……讽袁世凯退位”，即为庚子赔款义卖募款，主张贫者少捐或不捐；秋瑾就义后为其收殓遗骸葬于西湖畔；袁称帝时上书声讨，劝其早日下野等事迹。
联语“棱威重译震，盛事百年知”节选自吴芝瑛堂叔吴汝纶诗。
