此炉形制罕见，绳索为耳，平口束颈，三足外撇，古拙有韵。观其皮壳厚泽细腻，淡雅古朴，炉身小巧别致。器薄体重，敞口圆唇，索耳跷起如拱，极富张力。束颈，扁圆鼓腹。整器自上至下线条低徊婉转，形体丰满绰约。内膛平整，烧结老道。底署“琴书侣”三字篆书款。为文房演琴、读书的焚香佳器，值得宝爱。
