多管瓶，最早可追溯到五代时期，是流行于宋的一种瓶式，因瓶肩部各面分布着直立的多棱形或圆形管而得名。北宋，五管瓶大量烧造，种类丰富，品种繁多，装饰多样。就就小管数量而言，有四管、五管、六管、七管，其中五管最为常见；该器直口，直颈，口沿外折，折肩上竖立三个细长小管，均匀分布在瓶口周围。圆鼓腹，下腹内收，胎体厚重，通体施青釉。其用途尚不明朗，或认为是灯，以中央直口注油，周围管作灯芯，亦或是用来插花的花管。
