Exquisitely enamelled around the sides with a multitude of brightly-hued coloring and Chinese characters surrounding the pair of vases depicting a poetic story; with various colors of gems on the top and bottom base. The foot, shoulder, neck and mouth encircled with rich gold bands, the bottom is covered as an enamel continuing to the interior with a marked seal on the bottom.
