The bulbous body is raised and is decorated with the bajixiang and lotus sprays arranged in two registers and interrupted by a imperialistic designed head from which issues the curved spout, the knopped neck surmounted by a canopy-shaped mouth with slightly canted sides and rounding inwards to a narrow opening, all further decorated with foliate decoration reserved on a ruby ground between formal and gilt bead borders, the interior of the mouth and the base covered in turquoise enamel. The bottom is decorated with a marked seal of qianlong.
