此炉为乾隆时期宫廷造办处所制，风格明确，制作精良。乌铜炉身，余处红铜鎏金，金水完好处仍熠熠生辉，可以想见当初之华美。腹部有菱花形开光，内錾各式花纹。炉身较扁而三足修长，给人亭亭玉立的视觉体验。
