托忒克·端方（1861—1911），字午桥，号陶斋，清末大臣，金石学家。满洲正白旗人，官至直隶总督、北洋大臣。1905年底，清政府委派端方和戴鸿慈率团33人，历访日本、美国、英国、法国、德国、丹麦、瑞典、挪威、奥地利、俄国十国，于次年八月回国。此爵杯为端方出访美国时所携赠礼，今又由美国回流国内。
