A Villanovan impasto ware lidded olla
Circa 7th Century B.C.
Of light brown impasto, the vertical ridged bulbous body with two opposed horizontal handles at the shoulder with recessed dot motifs above, set on a hollow stem with horizontal ridges, flaring towards the foot, the domed lid surmounted by a knopped handle, ancient but possibly not belonging, 49.5cm high (incl. the lid)注脚Provenance:
