赏析：本品以上等和阗白玉雕琢而成，玉质缜密，油润温厚。主体圆雕一只鲶鱼跃然出水，鱼身丰腴肥硕，大口圆眼，背鳍耸立，宽尾呈扇形。身侧玉荷芊芊，摇曳生姿。整器线条流畅有力，动态十足，暗含鱼戏莲之情趣。莲花鲶鱼为清代十分常见的吉祥图案，“莲”与“连”谐音，“鲶”谐音“年”，“鱼”谐音为“余”，以表连年有余或年年有余之美好祝福。整器雕琢手法具有鲜明的明代风格。来源：天津文物商店旧藏。
