玉琮质地细腻温润，料带烟紫墨色，边沿满带有乳白色钙化灰皮。整体作内圆外方柱形，上下两端凸出不规则的矮圆楞边；表面光素，不加纹饰装点。圆边可见古人切磨制作痕迹，四角圆浑坡面造型，工艺古拙。玉琮为古时六器之一，古时带有祭祀功能，为重要礼器。整体造型古朴自然、带有历史气息，适合作为文房陈设。
