插屏以红木制作，屏面为青白玉雕琢，玉质细腻温润，微带黄沁，双面工阴刻描金装饰诗文图画。正面主体绘画老农牧牛，手扶曲辕犁耕地，身侧春江水柳、农夫锄归；上侧楷书御题诗文《御题春华集庆图·春雨新耕》“濛濛春雨優而渥，冒雨耕人勞亦歡。正是恒年顒望際，画看容易即真難”。背面则为山崖之上，苍松翠柏。寓意吉祥长寿，屏风书画和谐，雕工精致细腻，适合作为收藏陈设、文房装点。
