赏析：该砚长方形，砚堂平坦，砚板质地坚实细腻，浑朴天然，石质滋润，留其素方，不忍刀耕。砚额浮雕螭龙。包浆浑厚古雅，品相佳美。侧阴刻篆字。简介：程兆熊（1717-1764）号香南。工于书画，乾隆时居寓江苏仪真桐华庵，与华岩、时颜、许大等人合作《桐华庵胜集图轴》。李斗《 扬州画舫录》卷十二《桥东录》载“扬州名园甲第，榜署屏障，金石碑版之文，皆赖之。”工诗，著有《澡雪吟稿》。
