A set of six Dutch decorated English creamware plates: probably Leeds, of silver shape, enamelled in bright colours with scenes from The Prodigal Son, each titled in Dutch and within ornate foliate borders, depicting 'The Prodigal Son Receiving his Patrimony' [Den Verlooren Zoon], 'The Prodigal Son Taking his Leave' [Zyn Afscheid], 'The Prodigal Son in Excess' [Zyn Hoerery], 'The Prodigal Son in Misery' [Zyn Arremoe], 'The Prodigal Son Returns' [Zyn Berouw], 'The Feast of The Prodigal Son' [De Maalteyd], 25 cm diameter [6], two with minor hairline to rim.
