A mid-Victorian French brass mantel clock: the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a bell with an outside countwheel and stamped with the serial number 2901, the round white enamel dial having black Roman hour numerals and blued steel hands with the pendulum bob depicting a fern leaf and swinging below, the brass case depicting a lady in classical dress leaning on the clock housing, all standing on a further plinth, height 57cms.
