A walnut oyster veneered banded and inlaid chest in the William and Mary taste:, on a later base, the upper part with sycamore banding and decorated with geometric lines, having a quarter veneered hinged top enclosing a box interior, the sides with brass drop carrying handles, the later base containing two long drawers, on bracket feet, 100cm (3ft 3 1/2in) wide x 67cm (3ft 2 1/2in) deep.
