清康熙年间，政府主持聘用西洋教士，第一次采用西方经纬度法测绘全国省级地图，绘制出《皇舆全图》。同治二年，由胡林翼主纂，邹世治、顾圭斋等运用计里画方古法和经纬度制图新法，编制成《大清一统舆图》，又称《皇朝中外一统舆图》，共分中卷一卷、南十卷、北二十卷三部分。图百余幅，首有总图，分绘东西半球。文字十数万言。内文资料详实，绘图较精准，为舆图研究之重要资料。拍品存北二十卷，南十卷。
