A DJENNE TERRACOTTA FIGURE, MALI The kneeling figure is depicted with long arms, hands resting on the knees, with a distended belly and long pendulous breasts, wearing a collar tied at the centre, the head with highly stylised facial features, with bulging cheeks, an open mouth and small half-closed eyes, two large ears protrude from each side of the head, 36cm high.
