识文：竹庵尊兄鸿胪执事，久阙书问，南北升沈，实使之然。近承解组辝荣，自乐道素，甚盛甚庥。麐老衰废放，胥 江湖，定为故人所悯笑已矣，无可言者，惟习气多生，难于除去，尚时时弄笔研以自娱。甾木繁多，兹以新刻丛话一种呈政，可想见书生故态耳。闻皋比海国，今有舍弟友三，以笔墨往游，欲一识眉宇，用以书通。余惟为学自重，不一一，弟郭麐顿首。
